Morse Code Numbers Chart (0-9)

Five-Signal Number System

All Morse numbers use exactly five signals. Once you understand the dot-first pattern for 1-5 and dash-first pattern for 6-9, the entire number set becomes much easier to remember.

Numbers 0-9

1-5 Pattern

Numbers 1 to 5 start with dots and end with dashes. The number itself tells you how many dots appear at the front.

6-9 Pattern

Numbers 6 to 9 reverse the pattern: dashes first, dots last. You can think of them as 5 plus the mirror of 1-4.

0 Pattern

Zero is the easiest number to memorize: five dashes in a row.
